Empowering communities through collective action - Together, we can make a difference
Empower House PDX is dedicated to preventing homelessness by providing rental assistance to eligible households in the Portland metro area, with a particular emphasis on supporting those with disabilities and those identifying as BIPOC. Our aim is to equip individuals and families from historically marginalized communities with the tools they need to improve their financial situations, find better job opportunities, and access education that can enhance their lives and wellbeing. We achieve this by offering online courses in financial literacy, job development, and special education services.
What we do

Housing insecurity is high in Portland, especially for those with disabilities and from marginalized communities. Many are at risk of losing their homes.
